Native Australian Hibicus Alyogyne huegelii Ninbella Purple x10

A sweet and soft, but vibrant lilac/lavender coloured perennial flower.

The foliage is a grayish green and can grow to 2m high and a few wide. The flowering period is long and They will Flower in the late autumn and winter right through to summer, so perfect to bring some life to your winter garden (unless you're in snow of-course.)

Similar to a traditional hibiscus, the flower will only last a day.

Excellent as a screening bush, though older plants can become a bit lanky.

Perfect for bees and butterflies!

The flowers, leaves and even the roots are actually edible! They can be made into a syrups, cordial, jams or preserved. The new shoot leaves can be eaten raw or steamed!

Cant say about the roots from first hand experience, ive not tried them yet haha.

*** Just A PSA- Before eating any plant it is a good idea to accurately identify which plant you have. ***

Is very draught Tolerant and loves deep sandy soil or clay.

Be sure to only use native Australian specific soil with these plants as with other native they are sensitive to phosphorus.

The plant is open pollinated, so there is a potential for a cross. So you might get a whole new flower, though it will be very similar!
