The stems are subtlety sweet, nutty & mild in flavour, making it very easy to cook with.
They should be picked well before they go to seed or will become bitter.
Growing is very simple.
Sow in winter using rich, well composted soil with good drainage. Choose a protected area as the plant can be delicate when young. (I had mine destroyed by hail 🥲)
