Alpine Strawberries are miniature variety of strawberries that grow in a clump much like the larger varieties. The flavor is sweet and is candy like. If taken care of well I've found I can get them to fruit perpetually
Unlike regular strawberries they do not put out runners.
They love to grow in a shaded area so that windowsill that nothing grows on would be perfect!
Be sure to only use a small amount of organic fertiliser as I've found that stronger artificial fertiliser can burn the plant. Maybe something to do with it being a wild variety.
